Jones County Courthouse (Laurel - District 2)

Add to plan Remove from plan

The Courthouse was one of the first monumental public buildings completed downtown and was designed by Mississippi architect P. J. Krouse. Finished in 1907 in the Beaux Arts Style, it features classical design elements accented by many decorative plaques. Since Jones County has two judicial districts, there is an exact replica of the courthouse in downtown Ellisville.
